GETTING STARTED

General Questions

What is Metabolic Clarity Labs?

Metabolic Clarity Labs is a health education company built around the Four Loads framework: Glucose Load, Storage Load, Regulatory Load, and Inflammatory Load. We publish educational content and offer supplements as one part of a broader system, alongside your own physician's care.

Is this medical advice?

No. Our content is educational and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to your physician about your specific health situation before making changes.

Who is Charles Kirkland?

Charles is the founder of Metabolic Clarity Labs. After a personal metabolic health crisis, he worked with his physician to make significant, medically supervised changes and built this platform to help others understand their own numbers.

Do I need lab results to use your free tools?

Most of our calculators can work from numbers you already have from a recent lab report or home blood pressure monitor. If you don't have recent labs, our free assessment can help point you toward which area to focus on first.

THE BASICS

Metabolic Health Questions

What is metabolic syndrome?

Metabolic syndrome describes a cluster of related factors, including waist size, blood pressure, triglycerides, and blood sugar, that tend to move together. Having several of these outside a healthy range at once is associated with higher long-term health risk, which is why we treat them as connected rather than separate problems.

What are the Four Loads?

Glucose Load (how you handle sugar and carbohydrates), Storage Load (how your body stores and accesses energy), Regulatory Load (blood pressure and related systems), and Inflammatory Load (background strain that can affect the other three). We use this framework instead of treating each lab number as an isolated issue.

What does A1C actually measure?

A1C reflects your average blood glucose over roughly the past two to three months. A single reading taken shortly after a lifestyle change may not yet reflect that change. Our A1C calculator can help you see the relationship between A1C and average glucose.

Can metabolic syndrome improve?

Many people are able to move individual markers in a healthier direction over time, often alongside medical care, medication when prescribed, and sustained lifestyle changes. Results vary by person, and any changes to medication should be made only with your doctor.

PRODUCTS

Supplement Questions

Are your supplements a replacement for medication?

No. Our supplements are formulated as structure/function support products, not medications, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Never stop, reduce, or change a prescribed medication without talking to your doctor first.

What is your return policy?

Our supplements carry a 60-day guarantee. If a product isn't the right fit, contact us within 60 days of purchase and we'll help you with the refund process.

Are your products third-party tested?

Yes. Our supplements are manufactured in GMP-certified facilities and tested for purity and potency. Certificates of Analysis are available on request.

Can I take your supplements with my current medication?

If you take medication or manage a diagnosed condition, review the full ingredient list of any product with your physician before starting, especially if you take medication related to blood sugar, blood pressure, or cholesterol.
